Changes

Classes are over; Homework is done; Tests are completed…Gradation is TOMORROW!! I have been waiting for this moment for two years and I am so glad it has finally arrived. Sunday morning I will wake up no longer a student…something that has not happened in 20 years!!

I am ready for this new journey in my life, but totally anxious at the same time. I have been looking for jobs and apartments in the city I plan to move to. Yes, I plan to move to that city without a job if necessary and am leaving it in hands that are not mine. I know that things will fall into place, because it is out of my hands and in bigger ones now. It is scary not knowing what is going to happen but just thinking about it makes me so happy that there is no way that it is not the absolute right thing for me to be doing! I always thought leaving Dubuque and my family would be a little scary but that has not once been the scary I have focused on at all. My family is proud of me and they have known this time would come. They are taking it better than I thought; at least, in front of me they are.

So, as titled…changes are going to be happening and I am fully looking forward to them and am glad you can be along for the adventure!
